Hi, I’m Alicia Ridland. I’m so excited to take you, your family and friends on a journey of hearty, wholesome cooking where variety is the spice of life.

I’m all about flavour! I love using healthy produce in creative ways to make the¬†flavours become a taste sensation in your mouth!

I’m also a Mum of two, Tye is a nature loving free spirit and Daisy Grace is my sweet flower child. I am obsessed with my kids & of course want to be the best Mum I can.¬†I love cooking for and with my children and if you follow my I’ll be sharing lots of delicious healthy children’s meals and recipes.

I’m very passionate about cooking healthy food & using lots of superfoods like kale, quinoa, chia & coca just a few of my favourite. However I honestly believe life & food need to be balanced. Yes we all need chocolate, cake & pastry sometimes! I eat with my eyes, food for me need to look inviting – hence the name of my blog Flavours and Flowers. I style my pictures often using flowers as I enjoy the aesthetics of two natural beauties enhancing each other!
